Our sister company, the Jersey Accommodation and Activity Centre (JAAC) is Jersey's only residential activity centre with 110 beds that cater for individuals, families and groups. The rural location in the beautiful parish of St.Martins on the east coast has fantastic views and is only a 5 minute walk from the iconic port of Gorey with a frequent bus service, restaurants, shops and pubs.
Throughout the year JAAC caters for groups from all backgrounds; sports teams, Army/TA groups, family holidays, French and English schools in accomodation comprising of single, twin, family and dormitorys with up to 10 beds, prices starting from £25pp per night, including a continental breakfast. JAAC provides good quality, affordable rooms with a friendly service!

We use personal data only as permitted by a proper legal basis, such as to fulfil our agreement with you, for other purposes you have expressly consented to, for purposes based on our legitimate business interests, or as required by law. For example, we may use your personal data to:

  • Reserve, manage, and modify your booking
  • Notify you of any changes or important information regarding your booking
  • Receive and accommodate any special needs or requests
  • Provide surveys or other methods by which we can monitor and improve our performance
  • Respond to your inquiries and communications
  • Resolve disputes or enforce our rights
  • To ensure you are fit and healthy enough to participate in your chosen activity.

WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE PERSONAL DATA?

We will not sell or give any of your personal data to any outside organization for their own marketing or other purposes. We only disclose your personal data to third parties as reasonably necessary to carry out the permitted uses described above. For example, we may share personal data with:

  • our booking engine, payment processors, technical and customer support contractors, and other service providers who are required to keep the personal data confidential and are prohibited from using it other than to perform services on our behalf;
  • our successors in the event of a sale, merger, acquisition, or similar transaction affecting the relevant portion of our business; and
  • legal and governmental authorities or other third parties, to the extent required to comply with a legal order or applicable law.

Where we are processing your personal data based on your consent, you have the right at any time to withdraw such consent by contacting us at www.jerseyadventures.com  Please note that we may continue to process such personal data only if supported by another lawful basis (such as to fulfil our obligations to you, in connection with our legitimate business interest, or as required by law).

INQUIRIES OR COMPLAINTS

If you have any questions or complaints about our data processing practices, please first contact us at john@jerseyadventures.com   If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you also have the right to raise your inquiry or complaint with the applicable data protection authority in your home country.

DATA CONTROLLER

We are typically the data controller, as that term is used in applicable privacy laws, for any personal data that we collect from you. However, when we collect personal data about you from a third party (e.g., booking and payment agencies), the third party may be the data collector for such data and we may be the data processor. If we are acting as the data processor, we will only process the relevant personal data as requested by the data controller, and may need to refer any inquiries from you to the applicable data controller.

CHILDREN’S DATA

The Company is intended for individuals 10 years of age and older, and is not directed at, marketed to, nor intended for, users younger than 10 years of age.  If we learn that we are in possession of any personal data relating to a person younger than 16 years of age, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to promptly delete such personal data from our systems.

THIRD PARTY SITES

The Site may contain links to external websites or social media platforms not controlled by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices and data collection policies for third party sites. You should consult the privacy policies of those sites for details.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may change this Policy from time to time. We will comply with any legal requirements regarding the provision of notice, but will always post the then-current version of this Policy on the Site.
